Ally Customer Service Analyst in Detroit, Michigan
Member of the Ally Supply Chain team supporting in delivering services to the lines of the business. The Financial Analyst/Business Unit Support position will be a key member of the Purchase-to-Pay team, which supports all business units across the Ally Organization.
Provide Supply Chain, Purchasing and Accounts Payable support to Ally Financial Services, Insurance, Ally Bank and the corporate segments.
Respond to Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Vendor Maintenance phone and email inquiries
Support Ally's offshore BPO provider with daily purchasing and payable tasks
Assist the Accounts Payable team with month-end closing tasks including payables accruals and A/P liability reconciliation
Support Purchase-to-Pay project initiatives
Provide buying channel support to Ally business units
Perform pended invoice updates and escalations
Perform system and process training to business units
In house check run -- tracking distributing and communicating to leadership
Process deposits for checks refunded by vendors; working with the Account Reconciliation team
Answer Purchase-to-Pay questions for internal Ally customers and Ally vendors
Vendor account reconciliations
Monthly governance reporting/analysis
Ensure compliance with all aspects of Ally's Enterprise Approval Authority; Acquisition of Goods and Services; and other related policies.
High school diploma and 2-4 years of accounting, finance and/or purchasing experience required.
Supply Chain Management and/or customer service experience is preferred.
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
The ability to work with a diverse team that is located in several US cities and India
The ability to be goal and timeline driven
Ariba, SAP and/or APEX Analytix, Salesforce familiarity is preferred.
